NATIONAL MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY

Take an adventure of a life time right from your own home. The National Museum of Natural History of the Smithsonian located in Washington, D.C. It is dedicated in understanding the natural world and our place in it.  A virtual tour is provided below.

To download these mobile apps on your phone or tablet, look for the symbol that looks like the shape of the letter A. Click on it, and you will be taken to the main page. At the bottom of the screen look for the search bar, and click on it. This will allow you to be able to look up these free apps and download them on your device.

TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas in the form of short, powerful talks known as " TED Talks". The app covers almost all topics from science, to business, to global issues.

EPICURIOUS

Epicurious is the ultimate food resource for home cooking. The app contains daily kitchen tips, fun cooking videos, and, oh yeah, over 33,000 recipes.

LUMOSITY

Challenge your mind with Lumosity, the #1 app with 60+ brain games for memory, math, vocabulary, and more.

WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE?

Do you love game show trivia? Have you always dreamed of taking home the win from a game show? Now you can, with the Official Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Trivia Game. Based on the hit game show, now you can show off your game show trivia knowledge and win big!

AARP NOW

AARP Now is a free app that turns your membership card into a digital membership. You can access all of your AARP benefits through the app. Your digital membership includes access to news stories, information on events and workshops, games, and membership discounts.

LEFT VS. RIGHT BRAIN

This app targets at exercising the brain on the go by testing your adaptability, awareness, reasoning, reflex, patience, and precision. This is done through 49 games in total categorized into 6. This game helps both those who have busy work schedules as well as retirees and the elderly to become more alert.

INSTACART

You can use the InstaCart app to order your groceries online and have them delivered to your home from stores right in your own neighborhood. You can choose from thousands of retailers, including Safeway, HEB, Wegmans, Petco, CVS, Publix, Costco, and Aldi. Create your own shopping lists and tag your favorite items to make reordering easier with this free app.

CANDY CRUSH SAGA

Candy Crush has been one of the most popular games around the world for several years now. Its mechanics are simple, its graphics are impressive, and the developers are continually introducing updates to keep the fun endless. As with any other game, it becomes more challenging as you progress since the difficulty intensifies as you advance. It’s a great way to improve one’s analytical and strategical skills.

Facebook is a social networking website where users can post comments, share photographs, and post links to news or other interesting content on the web, chat live, and watch short-form video.

PINTEREST

Pinterest is a social network where people can find inspiration and ideas for their interests and hobbies. The app consist of images and, on a smaller scale, GIFs and videos, in the form of pinboards.

Peak is an app provides more than 40 fun games to help you exercise your brain. Peak is designed to improve your memory, sharpen your problem-solving skills and develop your mental agility.
